What we are
Respawn Rated is a small, independent UK editorial site about online games: the big free-to-play and live-service titles that people play for months or years, rather than finish in a weekend. We rate ten of them on how they play and on how fairly they sell what they sell, and we publish plain-English guidance on paying for games in the UK.
Why the payments section?
Most games we cover are free to download and make their income from cosmetics, passes and subscriptions. How a game sells to you is part of what it's like to play, so we review it. People also send us the same practical questions again and again: which stores take PayPal, how gift cards work, how to set a spending limit for a child. The Paying for games in the UK guides answer them in one place.
What we don't do
- We don't sell games, keys, gift cards or in-game currency.
- We don't take payment from publishers for coverage, placement or scores.
- We don't use affiliate links. Every "Official site" link goes straight to the publisher.
- We don't run adverts or tracking on this site.
